The legendary Pavilion 36 built by Krupp in 1999 for EXPO2000 has been used as a conference, training and event center since 2009. Core focus areas are the fields of automation and robotics.
The Robotation Academy
Automation and robotics have a broad range of applications today and offer attractive benefits even for relatively small production volumes.
Automation and robotics can be used to lower production costs, enable new products, facilitate more compact designs, fit more functionality into smaller packages, ensure product quality, and ensure compliance with specific cleanliness or hygiene requirements.
The Robotation Academy demonstrates the concrete advantages of automated solutions for your company.
We introduce you to the various automation and robotics technologies, offer meetings and conferences on these topics and can consult with you at your production site to develop an investment plan.
A sample training
The Robotation Academy tailors its approach to the desires and needs of small and medium-sized businesses in introducing them to the basics of this technology. Currently the Robotation Academy has 15 industrial robots in various performance categories. We also offer training in drive engineering, industrial communications, sensor technology, safety engineering and industrial IT.
What is exceptional is that hands-on access to technology is part of all trainings and conferences.
The facilities have a highly functional design that allows participants to observe interactions between various automation components. Volkswagen Group Academy technicians have installed five training units in which all major issues in industrial automation can be explored and questions answered. Mobile automation features can also be examined with the help of several driverless transport systems, and their connection to stationary units demonstrated.
Deutsche Messe and Volkswagen Group Academy offer short technical workshops on a range of automation-related topics. Based on the success of these workshops, it was decided to make the Robotation Academy a permanent fixture of the exhibition center and to offer workshops and seminars year-round.
